Tackling the onshore remote sensing industry training course

The one day short training course addresses current onshore remote sensing industry challenges and technological advancements.

This one day short training course allows attendees to benefit from DNV's extensive experience in remote sensing by addressing current onshore remote sensing industry challenges and technological advancements.

Particular attention will be paid to the current and future role of remote sensing from preconstruction energy assessments, power curve testing and operational wind farm evaluations. In addition to addressing current advancements in remote sensing technology, best practices and standards, the one-day course will provide an understanding of how these effect various stake holders (i.e. OEMs, developers and lenders).

On completion of this course, delegates should understand the application of the latest remote sensing technologies and standards. Delegates should also have a better understanding of the rewards and pitfalls of employing remote sensing devices in all phases of a wind farm.

Who should attend?
Developers, operators, turbine manufacturers, lenders and other professionals involved with remote sensing campaigns who wish to benefit from DNV’s technical knowledge and expertise. Attendees with a basic or more advanced understanding of how remote sensing devices operate and industry best will benefit most from the course.
