ISO 30415:2021 - Human resource management — Diversity and Inclusion awareness course for managers

An eight-hour course in two sessions giving a basic overview of diversity and inclusion as covered in ISO 30415:2021

This awareness training course is designed to enable attendees to gain an understanding of the requirements of the ISO 30415:2021 standard.

The interactive course is split into two workshop sessions held one week apart enabling participants to practice what they learned during the first session, once they return to work and continue working on selected topics during session 2. All participants are required to attend both virtual training sessions to complete this training.

The standard is a guideline, which helps to develop an inclusive workplace. It requires an ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion (D&I), addressing inequalities in organizational systems, policies, processes and practices in a systematic manner.

  • Free access to online self-assessment tool – D&I. Access to this tool will be provided at the end of session 1, enabling participants to work with it and discuss the outcome during the session 2.

On successful completion of this course, attendees will be able to understand:

  • Key concepts of D&I that can be applied at their workplace with special emphasis on the ISO30415 standard.
  • Relationship between D&I and relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Guiding principles that can be systematically applied to their organizational systems, policies, processes and practices.
  • DNV’s scored evaluation tool that can be used to support the journey through D&I.

This course is aimed at any manager with an interest in diversity and Inclusion irrespective of previous knowledge of the ISO 30415 standard. The course is also ideal for managers involved in the implementation of the ISO 30415:2021 standard requirements in their organization. Relevant job roles may include:
