ISO 14001:2015 Auditor Transition Course

A full week course designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second-and third-party audits of management systems against the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015.

This course is designed to upgrade your EMS Lead/Internal Auditor knowledge and skills and help you and your organization to transfer from current to the next generation ISO 14001 Management System Standards.

This course has been registered and certificated by the CQI IRCA Governing Body and satisfies the formal training requirements for individuals seeking to upgrade CQI IRCA status or other Auditor Certification Schemes. 

A ‘Certificate of Achievement’ will be awarded to participants who passes both continuous assessment & the written examination.

Objective: 

To communicate any changes in EMS specific requirements arising as a result of transitioning from ISO 14001:2004 to ISO 14001:2015.

On successfully completing the course participants will: 

  • Know and understand Annex SL as a framework for ISO management systems:
  • Know and understand the requirements of ISO 14001:2015;
  • Be able to verify management systems and audit ISO 14001:2015 management system requirements effectively.

Prerequisites:

Participants must have a sound knowledge on the current ISO 14001:2004 standard and you have attended the Module 1 of the DNV Auditor Transition Training Pack (Duration – minimum 1 Day).

Audience:

EMS managers, QES managers, EMS lead/internal auditors, sustainability managers, executives and professionals engaged in preparing for the upgrade of existing management systems.

Trainers and consultants who search for basic knowledge related to the implications of the changes expected in the revised ISO 14001:2015 standards.

Participant evaluation is through continuous assessment during the course and written exam at the end of the course. Training can be done in classroom or online. Courses are adapted for online training and for the online exams a LAN connection and webcam are required.
