A one-day hydrogen awareness course at DNV's Spadeadam Research and Testing facility, Cumbria, UK
Course objective and scope
The energy transition will see an increase in the use of hydrogen. In many cases, these will be new environments. Understanding the differences between hydrogen and other common flammable gases will be critical to ensuring its successful implementation.
Attendees will develop their understanding of hydrogen through a series of classroom sessions and live demonstrations.
The emphasis of the day is on the first-hand experience gained from being exposed to large-scale fires and explosions.

Due to the secure location of Spadeadam Research and Testing, all visitors must have photographic ID when arriving on-site. Non-British nationals must send their passport details 4 weeks prior to the event.
