GMP+ FSMS Understanding Requirements Awareness Training (GMP+ Technical Specifications)

A 16-hour course, available online or in-person, covering the revised GMP+ Feed Safety Management System (GMP+ FSMS) and its technical specifications, focusing on enhancing feed safety through interactive learning.

In January 2024 GMP+Feed Certification scheme was revised by GMP International to further enhance animal feed safety as a component of the overall Feed Safety Assurance: FSA The GMP+ FSA Scheme, containing GMP+ Feed Safety Management System (GMP+ FSMS) standard and technical specifications as a set of management system for the production of animal feed and distribution in the feed chain.

The requirements combine the international feed industry's Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) system and the good manufacturing and managing practice quality assurance standards in a harmonized structural Level format.

This course is designed to provide delegates from feed ingredient manufacturing a fundamental knowledge on the requirements in GMP+ Feed Safety Assurance Scheme, especially on the GMP+ Feed Safety Management System (GMP+ FSMS) Standard and its related technical specification requirements. During the training, the trainer will also provide updated information on the related technical information in GMP+ FSA Appendices and certification update.

This course has been designed with input and feedback from a number of international trainers, customers, and training consultants. The course design reflects a high level of interaction between the trainer and the participants.

After successful completion of the course, you will have gained an understanding of:

  • The purpose, structure, and content of GMP+FSM and how it contributes to improving feed safety and business effectiveness;
  • Brief of GMP+FSMS requirement;
  • Principle of Auditing;
  • The competence and evaluation of auditors;
  • The Audit process as per ISO 19011; audit planning, conduct of audit, reporting with impact to the management.
