GLOBALG.A.P IFA – Integrated Farm Assurance V 6 Smart (Plant scopes - Transition Course)

A one day course aimed to explain the GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance Version 6 requirements for the plant scopes and key differences when compared with version 5.

The course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the requirements difference between GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance version 6 and version 5  for plant scopes.

This course gives knowledge on how to apply the requirements in the GLOBALG.A.P. IFA version 6 standard to keep improving organization’s performance in responsible farming and will guide you through the rules and related check lists that are relevant to integrated farm assurance in your organization.

Objective:

This course objective is to provide you with the ability to interpret and understand key differences between GLOBALG.A.P. IFA version 6 Smart when compared with version 5. Upon completion, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the following areas:

  • Environmental sustainability and biodiversity;
  • Workers’ health, safety, and welfare;
  • Animal health and welfare;
  • Legal, management, and traceability;
  • Production processes;
  • Integrated crop management (ICM) and integrated pest control (IPC);
  • Quality management system (QMS);
  • Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).

Pre-requisites:

General understanding of integrated farm assurance principles and knowledge of GlobalG.A.P. IFA version 5.

This course is recommended for anyone who is engaged in designing, managing and or implementing an integrated farm assurance system within the plants scope, including fruits and vegetable, flowers and ornamentals and especially:

  • Consultants;
  • Technical advisors;
