Goals
Participants will be able to understand the dangers of carrying out non-electrical work near high-voltage systems and understand compliance with safety rules when working as “life insurance”.

Seminar lecture, group and individual exercises, film sequences.

- Legal framework
- Basic structure of completed electrical systems
- Dangers of electric current
- Risk assessment (safety-relevant conditions and safety-related behaviour)
- Working near live parts of the system
- The 5 safety rules
- Setting up a workstation
- First aid and fire prevention.
Target group
Commercial personnel who are to carry out work in closed electrical workshops or in the vicinity of live switchgear, overhead lines or cables (fulfillment of the requirements of DIN VDE 0105-100).
Participants
At least 6 to a maximum of 12.
