Maximize the value of your RAM models and field data

Transitioning design-phase RAM models to actual operational use involves leveraging up-to-date field and operational data to continually iterate on equipment and production performance. This dynamic approach using Maros Operations ensures the integration of the latest field information, thereby enhancing the accuracy and effectiveness of RAM models to support business decision-making. The purpose of Maros Operations is to facilitate operational RAM by updating model data and re-processing results. It also enables model modifications (e.g. additional equipment or activities) and data integration and transfer with third-party systems allowing superior performance with all sizes of models.

Say goodbye to data silos

To address the challenge of data integration, it's crucial to recognize the need for seamless workflows and efficient data utilization. Integration through APIs (application programming interfaces) mitigates laborious manual data handling and reduces the risk of human error in unnecessary work, such as the repetitive upload/download between systems. Maros Operations APIs bypass proprietary interfaces and allow integration with client and third-party systems. Data extraction can be retrieved, processed, and combined with multiple data sets, providing many possibilities for efficient and improved data integration and associated benefits.

Personalized workflow for your every need

Whether it's performing maintenance optimization, updating data or making a business case, Maros Operations gives you the tools to meet your goals with confidence. Communicate with your stakeholders by presenting key results in the Maros Operations dashboard, Power BI or your own visualization tool.

Flexible hosting options to suit your needs

Maros Operations is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution, which means it is entirely cloud-based. Because of this, you don’t need to worry about software installation, updates or maintenance. SaaS solutions offer hassle-free and cost-effective advantages. We provide flexible hosting and excellent security options to cater for all customer needs.

Frequently asked questions

Maros Operations is not a replacement for the Maros/Taro desktop product. Maros/Taro will still be needed should the user need to create, build, and perform structural changes to models.

As the main objective of Maros Operations is to help companies implement and operate RAM models during the operational phase, users must have a copy of the Maros and/or Taro model to enable operational RAM.

We offer shared hosting (multi-tenant), dedicated hosting (single tenant), and on-premise solutions, tailored to client preferences.

To help companies transition to operational RAM, DNV has released the Maros Operations Web API product. This is a licensed product that is supported, maintained, and will continue to be developed by DNV. This is supplied as a standard offering aimed at providing on-cloud/on-prem Web API for use in operational RAM. This is also compatible with Maros or Taro base case files. The API allows automatic or scheduled data updates, data retrieval and some structural changes in the user RAM model. It can bypass proprietary interfaces and allows integration with other client and third-party systems. Data extraction can be retrieved, processed and combined to form multiple data sets.

Maros and Taro implement conditional logic to cater for rare and unusual scenarios. This powerful Boolean logic feature enables conditional/single and multi-dependent events to be modelled easily. It enables complex interaction between systems, not directly related to each other, to be captured. This gives the analyst the ability to model almost any event required to represent the plants behaviour.
