Our software packages
We've created three software packages to design fixed offshore wind foundations: 'Standard', 'Advanced' and 'Light' based on what our existing customers use, making it easier to decide what's right for you.

Standard package
Suitable for structural engineers performing early and detailed design with the ability to interface to an aero-elastic tool such as DNV's Bladed, SGRE’s BHawC or Vestas’ VTS/Flex5
Package capabilities:
- Orchestration of your analysis workflow on desktop or cloud
- Modelling with beams, flat plates and external matrices (e.g. jackets, monopiles, tripods)
- Modelling of curved shell geometries for transition pieces with automatic conversion of tubular joints to shells and mesh editing
- Wave load generation on beams
- Non-linear pile-soil interaction and linearization
- Static and dynamic structural analysis in frequency and time domain
- Seismic loads in structural response analysis
- Preliminary design (Natural frequency analysis, fatigue analysis and ultimate strength checks)
- Detailed design (interfaces for integrated design and superelement method, FLS, ULS, cloud enabled processes, efficient handling of many (thousands of) design load cases, and more...)

Advanced - Integrated Loads Analysis package
Combine the power of Sesam and Bladed for Intergrated Loads Analysis (ILA). Recommended for new entrants to offshore wind looking to fast track success or established players looking for efficiency gains.
All the capabilities of the 'Standard' package, with the ADDITION of:
- Integrated Loads Analysis using the integrated design or superelement method with Bladed and Sesam
- Combined modelling of wind turbine and support structure (modelled with beams or as superelement)
- Wave, wind and seismic loads in coupled analysis
- Turbine control system design and optimization (requires add-on module)
- Coupled structural analysis
- Seamless export/import (Import Sesam model to Bladed, run loads simulations and export results back to Sesam for ULS and FLS)
- Result plotting and animation of motion from wind turbine coupled analysis
Light package
Suitable for those performing early and detailed design without the need for focus on transition pieces or other uses of curved shell geometries.
All the capabilities of the 'Standard' package, except the following:
- NO modelling of curved shell geometries for transition pieces, automatic conversion of tubular joints to shells and mesh editing
- NO visualization of shell results
- NO results animations for beams or shell
