The current approach to network design is outdated and needs a new approach due to changing energy demands and introduction of novel gases, such as hydrogen and biomethane. The rise of data and digitalisation has helped many sectors become more efficient and resilient – and as we move toward a future net zero energy system, the application of these future technologies will become even more important.
Our award-winning Real-Time Networks project developed and demonstrated a world-first real-time energy model; a critical step in the decarbonization journey aiming to demonstrate a flexible gas network that can meet current and future energy needs.
Watch this recorded technical webinar to:
- Gain an understanding of the Real-Time Networks demand model, its testing, accuracy, and potential benefits
- Gain knowledge and inspiration for how to future-proof your gas distribution network with real-time demand modelling
The session is relevant for all who are responsible for pipeline distribution network planning, operations, innovation, digitalization, and demand management.
