Offshore fire simulation and structural response analysis

Learn more about using advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulator to quantify the risk

Fire on offshore installations may lead to threat to structure safety. The concern of fires is reflected in the rules and risk-based design practice. In order to quantify the risk, using advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulator to get the fire load and transfer it to non-linear structural software to carry out structural response analysis is the recommended approach.

Watch the webinar video to learn more about:

  • Using KFX™ for offshore fire simulation
  • Using Usfos for Non-linear structural response analysis
  • KFX-Usfos interface (Faths) for Fire and heat transfer simulations
  • Case study and live software demonstration
