DNV regularly undertakes a process of comparing our energy assessments with the actual production from wind farms after they are constructed. The ability of DNV to undertake this type of validation provides customers and investors with additional confidence in the accuracy of our methods. Results of the 2019 energy validation, for Australian wind farms, are presented below and show only a small net bias.
