Intelligent digital tools for screening of brain connectivity and dementia risk estimation in people affected by mild cognitive impairment
AI-Mind's core objective and primary outcome is to develop and provide an automated instrument for standardized population-based screening of the progression risk from MCI to dementia using cost-effective and non-invasive measures. This risk assessment will allow healthcare systems to concentrate pharmacological, rehabilitative, and lifestyle initiatives on high-risk subjects. While the anticipated AI-Mind tools represent a novel technological advancement, their intent is to complement, rather than replace, existing diagnostic tools for dementia.
