Dr. Shawn Bodmann

Director, Energy & Climate Equity

Shawn helps clients better understand their customers’ needs and experiences, particularly those of disadvantaged customers, and tailor their programs to those customer needs. He specializes in synthesizing diverse data gathered through a wide range of methods, from in-depth ethnographic interviewing to representative surveying, to data science. Shawn leads the North America Energy & Climate Equity group, which works to promote a fair and just energy transition where traditionally marginalized communities have access to economic and environmental benefits. Crystal Green

Associate Director, Energy & Climate Equity

Crystal assists clients with designing industry-leading solutions that meet their complex energy and climate equity needs. With a decade of experience helping hospitals enhance patient safety and quality while meeting regulatory requirements, she leads DNV’s Equity Accelerator efforts to optimize the performance of energy and climate equity investments while enhancing safety and benefits to at-risk customers. Cici Vu

Associate Director, Energy & Climate Equity

Cici supports clients with building equity into their services and programs. She brings 10 years of experience designing and implementing equitable and inclusive processes for local, state, and federal agencies, working with programs such as public transportation networks, government sustainability strategies, and conservation scholarship programs. She leads DNV’s equitable and inclusive community engagement efforts to help identify disadvantaged populations and better understand and serve their unique needs. Paula Ham-Su

Principal Consultant

Paula helps clients better understand the nuances of how their customers are using energy. For low-income customers, this includes identifying where there is underutilization, or people deliberately limiting their energy use to save money on their bills. Paula conducts load analyses and impact evaluations of energy efficiency and load management programs using statistical analysis, sampling, and load research. She is the project manager and subject matter expert, and consults with the California Public Utilities Commission, serving as a task lead in the their customer data management team. Contact Paula.

Elizabeth Kaiga

Key Accounts Director , Renewables

Elizabeth leads commercial & customer activities providing strategies and solutions to support an equitable global transition to safer, more reliable and sustainable energy. She chairs DNV’s Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Board and serves on the Board of Directors for Women of Renewable Industries & Sustainable Energy (WRISE) and Solar Sister. Elizabeth is a strong supporter of diversity, equity & inclusion, and has received recognition in that capacity from the YMCA of Greater New York, the Houston Business Journal, and the U.S. Department of Energy.
