New IMO-Vega online version
The database contains updated and consolidated IMO documents including resolutions from the Assembly 33rd session, MEPC committee 80th session, MSC committee 107th session - and circulars and interpretations including April 2024.
Relevant for design offices, shipyards, suppliers, owners/managers, flag states.
The IMO-Vega database
IMO-Vega is a searchable database of the regulation text of the SOLAS, MARPOL, Load Line conventions and other conventions, and codes such as ISM, ISPS, 2000 HSC Code, IBC Code, and much more.
The IMO-Vega Database, developed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and DNV AS, puts all the necessary information on safety and pollution prevention requirements applicable to ships at your fingertips.
In this release, Assembly 33 (December 2023) adopted inter alia renewal to the following Instruments: the HSSC Survey Guidelines, 2023 (res. A.1186(33)) and the PSC Procedure 2023 (res. A.1185(33)), (both under their respective “Other Instruments”)
Further, the 2023 Non-Exhaustive list of obligations under instruments relevant to the III Code (res. A.1187(33)) and the 2023 Guidelines on implementation of the ISM Code (res. A.1188(33)) were renewed, (both under their respective “Mandatory Codes”).
Likewise, the GMDSS Manual (2024) was renewed.
