M_DNV GL guideline to the new Common Structural Rules

DNV GL has issued a new publication aiming to help ship owners familiarize with new IACS Common Structural Rules for Bulk Carriers and Oil Tankers (CSR BC & OT).

The new rules are in force from July 1st, 2015, and they make up a comprehensive and consistent rule set which will set the standard for design of modern oil tankers and bulk carriers. In the DNV GL publication, the key features of the new rules are explained, including the practical consequences and scantling impact for each vessel type.
