DNV Ventures invests in SplxAI to Elevate AI Security
DNV Ventures is thrilled to announce our strategic investment in SplxAI, a pioneering company specializing in automated and continuous Red Teaming for Conversational AI applications.
SplxAI's innovative platform excels at identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in AI systems, ensuring they remain secure and compliant with the highest industry standards.
Since launching their Offensive AI Security Platform shortly after Black Hat last September, SplxAI has onboarded over 20 enterprise customers and achieved an impressive 127% quarter-over-quarter growth. As a recognized leader and trendsetter in the industry, SplxAI focuses on exploiting zero-day attacks with dynamic remediation techniques such as system prompt hardening, ultimately advancing into Agentic Security.
Recently, SplxAI successfully completed a $7 million seed financing round, with contributions from DNV Ventures, LAUNCHub Ventures, Rain Capital, Runtime Ventures, Inovo.vc, South Central Ventures, and prominent angel investors.
"We encountered a visionary, highly skilled, and dedicated team that has developed an impressive solution and scaled it rapidly to Fortune 500 companies," says Nermina Ek, who led the deal for DNV Ventures.
According to Kaare Helle, Venture Director, this partnership underscores DNV Ventures' commitment to supporting startups fostering safe and trustworthy AI.
As strategic investors, we aim to provide value to start-ups we invest in beyond capital investments. Via our investment, we look forward to strengthening the partnership with Splx.ai on the topic of AI security, he says.
