DNV’s smart meter lab in Arnhem becomes first accredited test laboratory for testing DLMS UA specifications
This milestone sets the stage for seamless integration and enhanced interoperability
DNV’s smart meter lab in Arnhem, the Netherlands, has become the first accredited test laboratory worldwide authorized to conduct both compliance and compatibility testing for DLMS UA specifications.
Going forward, DNV will be able to support DLMS UA members throughout the IDIS Package 3 Certification process. DNV’s smart meter lab has long been the only lab authorized to perform IDIS Package 2 Certification Tests, and these applications will still be accepted until the end of the year.
By meeting stringent criteria, we have demonstrated our commitment to maintaining high standards and facilitating testing procedures for DLMS UA specifications. This accreditation enables DNV, as the first accredited lab, to offer compliance and compatibility testing services across Europe for:
- ACESM generic companion profile (AC Electricity Smart Meter)
- EVCS generic companion profile (Electric Vehicle Charging Station)
- RDI generic companion profile (Remote Display)
This milestone sets the stage for seamless integration and enhanced interoperability.
