DNV GL verifies ACWA Power & NOMAC infection risk protocols
ACWA Power & National Operations & Maintenance Company (NOMAC) complete its readiness assessment against DNV GL’s My Care™ methodology, covering assets and operation across a number of countries.
The continuous COVID-19 situation demands that industries proactively build resilience. Mitigating actions and robust infection risk management process must be implemented swiftly. DNV GL’s proprietary My Care™ assessment methodology takes on a hospital grade approach to assess implementation of safety, hygiene and infection risk management capabilities across various dimensions. Verification assesses COVID-19 readiness and helps build trust in implemented infection prevention management system among employees, customers, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders.

ACWA power is a developer, investor, co-owner and operator of a portfolio of power generation and desalinated water production plants currently with presence in countries in the Middle East and North Africa, Southern Africa and South East Asia regions.
DNV GL conducted the assessment on ACWA Power and their subsidiary NOMAC’s systems in the field of construction, operation and maintenance of power generation and desalinated water plants. The countries part of the assessment included Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, Vietnam, Morocco, South Africa, and Turkey. An “Infection Prevention Readiness” statement is issued by DNV GL and which is accessible via a QR code to employees and other stakeholders of ACWA Power & NOMAC.
