This year’s London International Shipping Week (LISW) will focus on maritime innovation within the last decade. The week will bring together key players from the global shipping industry to discuss and promote London’s unique position as a leading maritime hub.
As a Platinum sponsor, on Tuesday 12th September, DNV will host the global launch event of our Energy Transition Outlook 2023 – Maritime Forecast to 2050 report at the IET London, Savoy Place.
While continuing to examine the impact of the latest regulatory decisions from the IMO and EU, and the development of an eco-system for alternative fuels, this year’s report takes a deep dive into shorter-term decarbonization solutions such as energy efficiency measures and technologies.
The report also presents two new economic cases for alternative technologies that may help the maritime industry prepare for fuel supply shortages and high prices in the future.
