The Accountability Framework for Energy Transition

After getting our baring on energy transition from the perspective of the market, we consider the implications it is likely to have on the dynamics between owner/ operators, energy suppliers, ports & terminals and charterers and brokers from a legal and commercial point of view. To be addressed:

  • Accountability and transparency in the process of decarbonization - where does the onus lie?
  • Challenges and limitations of charterparties and what is likely to change?
  • What is in the industry’s blind spot?
