Christian is one of Norway’s leading lawyers in machine learning and AI. With master’s degrees in law from Norway and France, and qualification as Norwegian lawyer and English solicitor, Christian has been advising companies on licensing AI based software, access to training data, and deployment of IoT for the past 10 years. He authored the textbook “When Law Meets AI” in 2019.
Christian Agrell, Lead AI Scientist, DNV
Christian leads the Risk and Modelling Technologies group in DNV Group Research and Development and has extensive experience with developing machine learning solutions for high-risk engineering applications. His current focus is on assurance of AI, and how to develop trustworthy AI systems. For industrial AI, this often involves combining domain expertise with data-driven modelling and uncertainty quantification.
