Nixu & Softronic join forces to improve cyber defense in Sweden

DNV, Nixu and Applied Risk joined forces to form DNV Cyber in 2024, creating one of Europe’s fastest growing cyber security services businesses.

Swedish companies strengthen their cyber defense with the support of a Security Operations Center (SOC), offered in collaboration by cyber security services expert Nixu, a DNV company, and Swedish IT service provider Softronic. The co-delivery service model will help organizations defend effectively against continuously evolving cyberattacks and become compliant with regulatory and standard requirements, such as the NIS2 directive.

The collaboration enables Softronic's customers to use the best of both companies' senior security expertise and offerings within the Security Operations Center (SOC) and related security services. A SOC helps organizations meet compliance requirements by providing continuous security monitoring, threat intelligence,  threat analysis, and incident management. Customers will benefit from this fully integrated partnership, which offers them a seamless operational experience as well as getting  access to skilled cyber security experts. The partnership aims to secure business continuity even in the event of a cyberattack, but it also brings synergy benefits, such as lower costs, to customers.

– I am proud of the work done by Softronic and Nixu to realize our joint ambition of offering comprehensive security solutions that enable customers to boost their security maturity efficiently. Together we can remove silos within customers’ IT ecosystems by delivering a service based on continuous collaboration and broad visibility, comments Jan Mickos, Director of Managed Services at Nixu.

Our wide, end-to-end managed and advisory security services provide a unique combination of security and service benefits.

– I am very happy about the collaboration with Nixu, which enables companies and organizations to accelerate their digital ambitions in the coming years and at the same time defend themselves against escalating cybercrime, says Charlotte Eriksson, CEO at Softronic.
