The company needed to increase the reliability of their overhead transmission network to avoid capacity constraints and ensure service to their millions of customers.
DNV’s solution
DNV supplied 2 Emergency Restoration System towers for 275 kV double circuit lines. DNV also provided its in-house Transmission Restoration software, KELSoP, which helped design the route for the emergency line.
