DNV has secured a USD14 million third-party authority inspection contract with Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) for the Nasr Full Field Development – EPC Package 2.

The work, which begins in January 2016, will see DNV deliver worldwide vendor and site inspection on the offshore multi-platform Nasr Super-Complex located on Das Island off Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Nasr Package 2 facility consists of an accommodation platform with a central control room, a gas separation platform, a gas treatment platform and a manifold tower. It also includes power generation and transmission facilities onshore Das Island, and 132 kilovolt subsea power cables laid from the island to the Super-Complex.

“This contract reinforces ADMA-OPCO’s position as the biggest customer for DNV in the UAE,” said Morteza Tavari, regional manager inspection, UAE and India for DNV - Oil & Gas. "I am confident the project delivery will run smoothly and underpin our leading position in the market."
