DNV expands Advisory capabilities in India
With a dedicated team of maritime consultants and plans for further expansion, DNV’s Advisory team is committed to supporting India's maritime growth.
India boasts a vast coastline and a thriving shipping industry, making it a prominent player in global maritime trade. The government's initiatives like Sagarmala and focus on port development are further propelling this growth. DNV recognizes this potential and aims to be a key partner in India's maritime journey.
Through DNV’s Maritime Advisory India unit, we provide Indian clients with an enhanced access to our global pool of maritime consulting expertise. We have strengthened our Maritime Advisory unit in India with a current team of four maritime consultants, which is poised for further growth. This will enable DNV to cater more effectively to the specific needs of the Indian market.
This increased capacity and attention to supporting local clients includes a comprehensive suite of services designed to meet the evolving needs of the Indian maritime sector, such as:
- Decarbonization solutions: Guiding clients in adopting greener technologies and operational practices to reduce their environmental footprint.
- Digitalization services: Leveraging digital tools and technologies to optimize vessel performance, improve decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency.
- ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) services: Assist clients in integrating sustainability principles into their business strategies, meeting stakeholder expectations, and future-proofing their operations.
